The Devil's Own Ice Creamery
Truly Tasmanian ice cream
The Devil’s Own Ice Creamery is, perhaps, one of the most unexpected Launceston favourites - located in a little cottage a short walk from City Park, they quietly create an amazing array of delicious ice cream and sorbet flavours that rotate on a weekly basis. These artisan ice creams and sorbets are carefully hand-crafted from as much Tasmanian, locally-sourced produce as possible; and all of the ice creams are made using rich, creamy, award-winning organic Jersey milk from Elgaar Farm.
With a strong focus on catering to those with allergies and dietary restrictions, The Devil’s Own Ice Creamery will also treat customers to a taste of every flavour before they choose what they’re buying. And believe us - you’ll want to try most of them! They also serve a range of café foods both sweet and savoury, including waffle toasties and pancakes.
On top of all this, a portion of The Devil’s Own Ice Creamery profits go towards the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program, which aims to conserve our island state’s beloved Devils.
WHY WE LOVE THEM:
1. Unique flavours you won’t find anywhere else.
2. A fantastic weekend trip for the family.
3. Gluten free everything, including waffles, cones, and fried chicken.
