Tamar River Cruises

Tamar River Cruises has been operating in Launceston for more than 10 years

Explore the magical Cataract Gorge and take a historical adventure down the Tamar River

Tamar River Cruises have been Tasmanian owned and operated from Launceston’s Home Point Cruise Terminal since 1996.

Their two vessels, the Tamar Odyssey and Lady Launceston have shared the unique cruising experience of the Cataract Gorge and Tamar Valley with over a million passengers over the past 25 years.

They take pride in themselves with their customer service, high standards and experienced, professional and friendly crew.

Their catering options for their extended cruises and private functions incorporate renowned Tasmanian fresh produce and wine selections showcasing some of the Tamar Valleys best.

WHY WE LOVE IT

  1. The perfect way to experience Launcestons natural beauty whilst enjoying some of the best food and wine Tamar Valley has to offer.
  2. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff that care for their work environment and passengers.
  3. Very informative and a great way to learn about the Tamar Valley area when visiting Launceston.
