Nando's

A PER-i perfect choice for tasty take-outs

After many years of lobbying by loyal Nando's customers, the cheeky international fast casual chain has its first northern Tassie location in Launceston's city centre. What makes Nando's memorable isn't just their spicy flavours, but their unique international influences. While they are known for their Portuguese flame-grilled, PER-i PER-i style chicken, the key ingredient (the African Bird's Eye Chilli) is abundant in South Africa where the chain originated. Locations soon followed in Portugal, the UK, and beyond.

WHY WE LOVE IT

1. The PERi-PERi sauces, spices, and marinades are what keep us coming back.

2. The family-friendly restaurant has options for littles that dial down the spice (but not the flavour).

3. If you want a taste of Nando's at home, they sell their famous line of PERi-products right by the checkout counter.
