Boathouse Coffee
Enjoy your daily dose of caffeine with a view
Conveniently located within walking distance of the bustling CBD, take in stunning views from the water's edge while enjoying coffee and more. Back in 2018, before recent developments in the area (including the amazing seaport foot bridge, Riverbend Park, and the Silo’s hotel), two friends from the University of Tasmania took a chance and started Boathouse Coffee at the North Esk Rowing Club. Part owners Daniel Britton and Isaac Lethborg have built Boathouse Coffee to be one of Launceston’s go-to spots for the best brew in city! Boathouse Coffee boasts stunning views toward the Cataract Gorge, Launceston Seaport and the Tamar River, making it a memorable choice for your daily caffeine fix!
WHY WE LOVE IT
1. Coffee and food that are both as exceptional as the views.
2. A great place to enjoy a quiet moment with the family after a visit to Riverbend Park.
3. Plenty of parking and fully accessible, amenities we especially appreciate!
Boathouse Coffee is also home to the Boathouse Centre Launceston, a premium events and function space that can host up to 350 people. Perfect for engagement parties, milestone birthdays, and corporate events, Boathouse Centre Launceston is high-quality, professional, and delivers memorable events for everyone!
