Craving a taste of France without having to book an international flight? A French Pâtisserie specializing in Choux pastry is right here in the heart of Launceston! French owners Noémie and Prosper met in 2021 while working together at Manubakery, where Prosper served as part owner and head pastry chef for the last 6 years. Prosper has a combined 16 years of experience as a pastry chef, including a decade of trade in multiple bakeries all across France. Noémie has extensive experience in hospitality, and it's hard not to melt when she greets you with her French accent! She has a natural gift for connecting with people.
Together, they have joined their considerable talents to start a new journey with their very own French pâtisserie, Le Petit Chou. Combining great Tasmanian ingredients with the classics of the French pastry, Prosper and Noémie offer sweet, savory, and gluten-free options to cater for most. Taking choux pastry and offering it in an infinite variety of flavours and shapes, this is a genuinely French high tea experience for Launcestonians. They are the first place in northern Tasmania where you can order croquembouches for special events.
