Waffle Break
Fresh Belgian waffles and more
You'll enjoy Waffle Break before you even step foot inside: the delicious smell of freshly-made waffles travels throughout Centreway Arcade and the surrounding laneways. Regardless of your plans for the day, that enticing scent will inspire you to find the source and enjoy a fresh waffle. Once you arrive, place your custom waffle order, with topping options available that are made from Tasmanian favourites, including Valhalla Ice Cream, Ashgrove Cream, and Anvers Chocolate.
While waffles are the main attraction, there are more sweet treats to enjoy, including shakes and hot drinks. The hot cocoa made with Anvers Chocolate is creamy, thick, and like the waffles, always fresh.
WHY WE LOVE IT
1. Their commitment to using fresh local ingredients.
2. The location in Centreway Arcade gives it an "off the beaten path / hidden treasure" vibes.
3. Waffles aren't the only sweet treat, with plenty of hot and cold sweet drink options.
