Launnie Heights N Ew 3

Launnie Heights Cafe

Tasty all-day breakfast, Indian fusion, and sweet treats along the Tamar River

Formerly a takeaway only café, Launnie Heights now occupies a new expansive space in the Tamar Yacht Club building. Serving all-day breakfast, the restaurant interior has big visual impact, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. If you aren't craving a big brekky, they also offer a variety of Indian-infused meals, baked goods, and take away options made fresh to order. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Tamar River from their private outdoor dining area, or take your coffee or meal to-go. While many cafes close early, Launnie Heights serves coffee all day and during their dinner service.

WHY WE LOVE IT:

  1. Come for the tasty food and stay for the sunning views of the Tamar.
  2. Vibe inside or enjoy your meal al fresco.
  3. Craving a late arvo pick me up? They serve coffee all day.

Note: Launnie Heights was previously located on George Street. As of December 2025, they are now in their new, larger location on Park Street near Royal Park.
