Charlie's Dessert House
The sweetest spot in town
Charlie’s Dessert House is a well loved establishment amongst Launceston locals. Equally ideal as a date night stop or an after school treat for the kids, Charlie’s menus are always full of deliciously decadent creations and their cake cabinets are always full of tempting treats.
You’d be hard pressed to find more visually appealing desserts in Launceston than those served here - Charlie’s describes their food as “sugar therapy” on their Facebook page, and that is immediately apparent in the presentation. Loaded shakes, large New York-style fresh baked cookies oozing with chocolate, chocolate fondue dipping platters and hot personal pan brownies are just some of the delights on offer - a true feast for the eyes as well as the body.
WHY WE LOVE IT:
They do catering! Great for parties.
Open late on weekends.
Perfect for ending a date night.
