Three very different histories. AFL stalwart clubs Hawthorn, North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs all joined the league in 1925. The trio have shared an intertwined history over the ensuing century - and vastly contrasting fortunes on and off the field. Australian Football's 100 Year Club celebrates the centenaries, plotting the ebb and flow experienced by each popular club. Author Andrew Clarke explores both their successes and the hard times, recounting the social histories that helped shaped these three teams. A must for any AFL fan. This is a free event, all are welcome.
