Kenzo's Kitchen

Baked goods with an Asian twist

The owner of Kenzo’s Kitchen is a Malaysian-Tasmanian who cooks what she craves. This unexpected fusion of baking and Asian flavours brings Launceston a unique range of products previously only available at weekend markets when Kenzo’s Kitchen was still just a stall.

Kenzo’s has somewhat of a cult following in Launceston, renown for the delicate flavours, flaky crisp pastries and supple soft doughs that have become the trademark of the business.

Curry hand pies, milk and honey doughnuts, Malaysian sausage buns, Japanese-style egg sandos and so much more can be found at this little hole in the wall cafe. Kenzo’s Kitchen also offers catering and coffees.

WHY WE LOVE IT

  1. Super instagrammable food
  2. Unique & delicious doughnuts that don’t skimp on the filling
  3. Beautiful mural out front
  4. Central location close to lots of offices & parks
  5. Rotating menu gives plenty of opportunity to try new things
