Sun and Moon Eatery
Seriously tasty Asian fusion
Looking for a unique dining experience in the heart of Launceston? Sun and Moon Eatery delivers a fusion of Korean, Japanese, Thai and Taiwanese cuisine, and the results are delicious. As carefully considered as their menu, the décor is open and airy, with warm wooden features and an impressive amount of greenery inside and out. The al fresco seating is limited, but lovely especially during the warmer months. We frequently choose the bibimbap, and the soup sets make for a filling lunch. Drink options include local wines, beers, and cocktails inspired by the cuisine, as well as fan favourites like Thai milk tea and ginger lemon kombucha.
WHY WE LOVE THEM
1. The varied menu will keep you coming back to try the creative fusions of Asian cuisines.
2. Located in a laneway off of busy St John Street, you'll feel like you've discovered a hidden gem.
3. Don't find yourself disappointed; this small restaurant books out on busy nights, so call ahead of time to make a res!
