Stuseum
A haven for retro pop culture fans
Do you miss the soft hum of a CRT television? Did your first video game console have wired remote controllers? Are you still tempted to blow on electronics when they malfunction? Stuseum might be the place for you.
Located in Powells Arcade, the Stuseum is a small but mighty collectibles shop featuring retro video games, board games, toys and more. This hidden gem packs a big punch, offering plenty of unique retro items, including all manner of physical media (such as laser discs, VHS, DVD's, cassettes and more). What ties the wide range of items together? The man behind Stuseum. Almost everything in store and available for purchase was once a part of owner Stu's sprawling private collection. If you appreciate old school pop culture and media, Stuseum offers plenty that will warm your retro-loving heart.
WHY WE LOVE THEM
1. Stuart is extremely knowledgeable and will happily tell you about all the items on offer.
2. It's small but is densely packed with unique retro pop culture items.
3. While most of the items on offer are second hand items from the last millennium, they also carry some new small gift items available for purchase, too.
Note: Stuseum is currently a one-man operation and open hours are subject to change on a weekly basis. We recommend following Stuseum and checking their social media channels for the most up to date open hours.
