Gourlay’s Sweet Shop

Gourlay’s Sweet Shop has been operating in Launceston for more than 10 years

A sweet Tasmanian icon

If there is one thing that generations of Tasmanians have savoured for decades, it’s the quality of the sweets they have bought from Gourlay's. This Tasmanian icon has been manufacturing its own sweets right here in Launceston since 1896, and they still use the same equipment and sweet-making techniques today.

Located in the Quadrant Mall, you will be delighted by their huge range of artisan chocolates, chewy toffees, hard boiled sweets and fruit jellies to name just a few of the treats on offer. Worried about too much sugar? Well, Gourlay's also stock a range of diabetic friendly and sugar-free products, so no one needs to miss out on a treat!

Friendly and helpful staff and the delicious aromas of the sweets make this experience a must for all sweet lovers.

WHY WE LOVE IT:

  1. So much chocolate – in a variety of shapes, sizes, and flavours.
  2. Handmade sweets – you can’t get these treats anywhere else.
  3. There are so many gift lines to pick from – you are sure to delight that special person in your life with something from Gourlay's.
