David studied at the South Australian Institute of Technology now known as the University of South Australia moving to Tasmania in 1984 and establishing David McKay & Associates 4 years later at the age of 25. More than 30 years later he is an extremely well renowned podiatrist even making it into the Australasian Podiatry Council Hall of Fame.
