Barratts Music

Barratts Music has been operating in Launceston for more than 10 years

For all your music needs

Barratts Music is one of Tasmania's premier and longest running musical instrument retailers. A family-owned business since 1937, Barratts has a wealth of experience and knowledge in most musical instrument areas and styles. They also offer instrument repair and maintenance, flexible payment plans, teacher referrals, and one of the most extensive print music sections in all of Australia.

Step inside this musical wonderland and you will find a range of instruments, including pianos, guitars, ukuleles and orchestral strings, as well as brass and woodwind instruments. The store stocks all the equipment that you need to set up your own home studio, including recording equipment and amplifiers.

Whether you are just starting out in your musical journey or are a seasoned professional, Barratts Music have everything you need to bring your song to life.

WHY WE LOVE IT:

  1. Has been bringing music to life in Tasmania for decades.
  2. The range of instruments is huge.
  3. Most of the staff are musicians themselves – their knowledge is second to none.
