Another Wild Thyme Café
A meal with a mission: supporting social inclusion
Looking for a quick and affordable bite to eat in the CBD? Craving a classic takeaway meal like hot meat pies, a fresh sandwich, or a jacket potato? Another Wild Thyme Café will tick all of those boxes. Stop in for a coffee at this fully accessible café and get it quick to-go, or take your time and enjoy the ample indoor seating. Without any steps to entry and automatic sliding doors, this is fully accessible for individuals who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices. That also makes it a top spot for those pushing prams who might not have a spare hand to hold a door open.
What sets this café apart from others is what happens inside after hours. Another Wild Thyme is a not-for-profit training café started by National Joblink, with the aim to help the people in our community grow their skills and experience. This is their second location; the first Wild Thyme is located in Cairns.
WHY WE LOVE IT
1. They offer a wide variety of classic café items at very affordable price points.
2. Enjoy your meal knowing it supports a mission that benefits the wider community.
3. The spacious seating located in the foyer is accessible and great for those with mobility devices.
