Pitch for Beers

FoodTech Tasmania is a global industry focused startup accelerator program. With an overarching theme of the circular economy, we work with high potential startups with novel and cutting-edge technologies in the areas of FoodTech, AgriTech, FermentationTech and Functional Foods. Each year, we scout over 18,000 startups from around the world and narrow them down to a cohort of the top 10 most promising startups. From there, we bring them here to Tasmania to help them grow their businesses to the next level.

From September - November, we are hosting ‘Pitch for Beers’ events here in Launceston for the current FoodTech founders in our 2023 accelerator program. This is the perfect opportunity to bring together our innovative startups with the Tasmanian community.

You'll hear pitches from up and coming founders about brand new cutting-edge concepts that will impact and improve the agriculture and food space. You don’t have to have industry knowledge or experience. It’s interesting, it's fun, it's casual. Just by attending you are supporting them.

You'll network with our Australian startup community of incredible investors, mentors, and startup enthusiasts in the UNESCO City of Gastronomy, Launceston.

You'll connect with various founders impacting food innovation which may lead to potential collaborations or partnerships in the future.

’Pitch for Beers’ will happen most Fridays (dates below) in Launceston, Tasmania from 4:00pm to 5:00pm between now and mid November. Feel free to grab a drink and join, once, twice, or every week - we'd love to see you there and to grow the startup network in Tassie!
