The Hannibal Lectures: It's Mead You're Looking For
Dill Pickle Club presents The Hannibal Lectures #6
Get your beakers, bowls and goblets ready – this month it's all about mead.
Stephen Wilkins from Wanderer Mead will go full Viking (and Anglo-Saxon, Celt, Roman, Greek... you get the idea) as he delves into the history of the world's oldest alcoholic drink, made from fermented honey.
Expect history and cultural references, plus find out how it was made and what it tastes like. There will also be a story about a goat in Valhalla.
Mead cocktail and tastings available. Bottles also available for purchase.
Please arrive by 7pm.
Wassail!
