Rainbow Stable - Celebrating Identity: Activism and Ecstasy
Rainbow Stable is a community group consisting of queer + ally creatives who have been dedicated to supporting LGBTIQA+ people in lutruwita/Tasmania through art, writing and music.
Celebrating Identity: Activism and Ecstasy honours groundbreaking moments in queer + ally history in lutruwita/Tasmania to seek acceptance and belonging in the wider community while overcoming atrophy and entropy.
The exhibition includes artworks made by the Rainbow Stable artists and a dedication section to celebrate the life of Sharon Corvinus-Jones to reflect on Sharon's legacy and achievements, her generosity, kindness and fun-loving spirit.
All Tasmanians have a right to feel safe to live openly and valued in society. The exhibition expresses a commitment to raise awareness of diversity with pride.
