Mothers Day Classic
The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research. AIA Australia has proudly supported the Mother’s Day Classic since 2018.
For the Launceston race, the course follows a flat, scenic loop starting behind UTAS Stadium, running along the North Esk River levee before winding through Churchill Park and the Heritage Forest. Participants then return along the levee to finish back at the start, enjoying river and parkland views throughout.
